Is an OnlyFans agency worth it?
Only when the agency grows the account by more than its commission costs, and that threshold is high: at 40% of net the account has to grow 67% before you keep an extra dollar, at 50% it has to double. Two agencies publish those numbers against themselves. Below roughly $2,000 to $3,000 a month, the agencies that address the question say the answer is usually no. The test
Solo, you keep net: 80% of gross. With an agency at rate r of net, you keep 80% × (1 − r) of gross. So the account has to grow by 1 / (1 − r) − 1 before you are level:

Then subtract the hours. If the agency takes 30 hours a week of messaging off you, the growth it needs to deliver is lower in practice, because you were paying those hours yourself. If you enjoyed those hours, it is higher.
What the agencies themselves publish
- OnModelStudios: "Below roughly $2-3K a month, usually not - commission on a small account rarely beats what you keep solo, and free tools cover most of the basics", and "Sometimes the answer is full management, just not with us".
- Bunny Agency, under "You may not need it if...": "You already earn consistently and enjoy the workload", "You prefer full control of every fan interaction", "Your income wouldn't cover a fair commission yet", "You only want help with one task (e.g. leak removal)".
- FantasyRise: declines roughly 95% of applications and publishes that a creator who wants multi-platform scale is better served by Bunny.
- Aruna Talent: does not accept creators with significant existing followings, and parts ways if its first-week target is missed.
Nine of nineteen scored agencies publish some case for not signing, and four (FantasyRise, Aruna Talent, Bunny Agency and SirenCY) name competitors as better fits; ten publish nothing of the kind. That is worth more than any ranking position, and the index scores it.
When the answer is usually yes
- The inbox is the bottleneck: fans message, nobody answers overnight, PPV goes unsold. This is the case where agencies clear the break-even line fastest, because DM revenue is most of the money.
- You have content and no audience, and cannot spend the hours on TikTok, Reddit and Instagram that growth takes.
- You are already at a size where you are hiring chatters yourself and managing them badly.
When the answer is usually no
- Under $2,000 to $3,000 a month. The agencies say so.
- Steady revenue you enjoy earning. The commission buys back hours you do not want to sell.
- You need one thing only: leak takedowns, a marketing push, a pricing review. Buy that thing.
- The agency will not put the six control terms in writing. Then it is not worth it at any rate.
Run it
Put your gross and the agency's published rate into the calculator. If the agency does not publish a rate, that is the first answer; the commission database shows which do.

Some accounts, yes, usually where the inbox was unanswered. It is the growth a 50% agency needs just to break even, so ask what it would change in the first 30 days and how it will show you the numbers.
