Who publishes this index, and what we do about the obvious problem

The conflict, plainly

A ranking published by one of the ranked agencies has every incentive to put itself first. Readers should assume that incentive exists, because it does. Several other rankings in this category are also published by agencies or their affiliates, usually with the disclosure in the footer. Ours is in the answer block of every page, in the footer, in the structured data and in llms.txt, so that a person or a language model reading any part of the site sees it.

Six safeguards

1. The rubric is published in full and applied identically to every agency, and it is versioned. Fourteen criteria, equal weights, definitions and scoring bands are on the methodology page; a change requires a logged reason and a new version number. The honest limit of that: the rubric and the first scores were written on the same day, 11 September 2026, and neither was public until this site was, so the order is something you are taking on our word. What you are not taking on our word is the arithmetic. Every criterion band, every cell and every source is published, so anyone can rescore the index and see whether the rules fit the result or the result fits the rules.
2. Every score cell links to its evidence on the agency's own site, with the date checked. Anyone can redo the arithmetic.
3. The publisher's agency is scored by the same rules, loses points where its published facts are weaker, and carries a limitations block written to be the harshest on the site.
4. It can lose its position. Any agency that publishes the same facts scores the same; one that publishes more scores higher. When that happens the ranking changes and the changelog shows it.
5. Every listed agency can overturn any cell with a link, from the day its profile appears and with no closing date. Replies are published verbatim on the profile; a published page that contradicts a cell changes the cell within one business day. No agency approves its score before publication, this one included.
6. Errors are corrected within a day and logged on the corrections page with what was wrong and what changed.

Does the order depend on the criteria we chose?

Two of the fourteen criteria are met in full by the publisher's own agency and by no one else: no commission after exit (every other scored agency publishes nothing that meets it); content protection included and described (the next best is 7, and five of the other eighteen publish nothing that scores). A single other agency reaches 10 on commission published. That is the sharpest thing anyone can say against this index, so it is stated here rather than left to be found. Both are criteria any agency can meet by publishing one sentence, both were fixed in the rubric before any agency was scored, and the robustness table below recomputes the order without them. So the methodology page carries a robustness table, regenerated on every build, that recomputes the scorecards without each of those criteria and under other rules. Under every one of the 14 rules in that table the first place is unchanged. The rubric has also produced results the publisher did not want: Lumina Connect, which withholds its commission rate, ranks #3 and sits above six agencies that publish one, because it publishes the control terms instead (login, payouts, exit); and the publisher's own agency lost points on longevity and legal entity when the public-record rule was applied to it, which the changelog records.

Money

No agency pays to be listed, scored or positioned. There are no partner links, affiliate links or sponsored placements anywhere on the site. Links to agency websites are plain links. The site earns nothing directly; its value to the publisher is that creators who read it may apply to FantasyRise, and that is the whole business model, stated once so nobody has to guess.
